TomTom got us there in good time.
This guy is on an effin mission. he rides for the fitness mission team.
Now, 60mph is not the impressive part of this photog, the impressive part is the 5000rpms mixed with what I diagnose is a effed up exaust in chris' audi. anyway i needed a dashboard shot somewhere on my blog. ishes.
this porshce thought it was cool to pass us on the shoulder. so i made a roadside appointment to catch a photog of his sweet ground effects!
The landscape for the rest of the day, wish me luck.

hairspray, and goats.
ripped on andy this weekend quite a bit. chris busted down the door 2 times once while andy was dropping two the other while andy was showering. IM CHRIS HANSEN????
Today I raced prospect park. I raced the 3/4 field and there were so many attacks. Mariellos Pizza would put off like 3 or 4 attacks a lap. Each time up the hill it would just be guy off the front after guy. That was the first three laps or so, my legs felt good, not great but good enough to race on. Then like 4 laps through or so I decided to float back and check out the scene back there. Dan from Princeton Review was back there and I figured he would be a freaking incredible wheel if it came down to a field sprint. Chilled off the back with him waiting for the field sprint, did some chatting and talked some tactics. Those laps went fast and it seemed like my legs didnt even feel them. Checked my Heart rate monitor and I was chillin at like 150-160 Bpm right on the back of the field. I was really happy with that actually considering ive been sick lately. I can feel my legs are getting adjusted to having like 20 more lbs on my frame so when i get leg speed back my heart will be super happy.
The new bike felt freaking incredible as well. I rode training wheels but it was still super stiff and responsive. The CAAD 9 is much different from the spec. I feel like when im out of the saddle the wheels are locked to the ground. The spec. on the other hand would be all freaking over the place, hopping from little bump tot little bump. The new bike feels really reponsive uphill to. Im not gonna lie Im mega pumped.

And another shot.

So good at telling a race story I for got the end, Dan from princeton review made a move in the field sprint that I couldnt match so I get a big FIF
recovery ride and run tomorrow?? who is down?

Done.
Not a typical american mullet, but a mullet typical of the european peloton. when asked about how you describe this to the barber scott said, (not a direct quote by any means) "I just hold up a picture of filippo pozzato" ha.
So the ride... we did a mendham lake road ride ish thing. scott blew up my legs on all the climbs twas interesting.

went to Cvs got my Arizona iced tea Sullivan got toilet paper for his family, cute.
saw Jordan shredding the counter, he gave me a small paper doll that he gives to customers, he cuts them out of the coupon circular and its in the shape of a person, it reads, "find the jade money by the next full moon"
This is basically what im listening to right now. If you dont have both, or even either of them, check them out on iTunes.

This is pretty much what I eat now. In fact im actually eating it right now, as I type. the yogurt tastes good and has calcium. I really dont drink milk because I like water so much, so this works well for calcium. The granola is a great substitute for chocolate chips and even has protein. Finally the fish oil pills are good for everything and apparently speed up you metabolism, excellent when taken with daily multivitamins. Enough boring nutrition talk. Here comes the excitement.
Forgot how fun riding the road is. Ive gotten all mixed up riding the cross bike, running and going to the gym that I completely forgot how fun the road can be. Did about an hour and a half, rode an abbreviated swamp loop. I had my first ride on the road with the hrm to so i followed that alittle, but I'm really not to big a fan of computers. I think I might like training with the hrm though it tells you avg hr, max hr, calories, %fat all good stuff. Looking forward to doing this base thing. ha.
Twas wintercross #2
I got fourth place. The race was super fun the course was muddy, but not too muddy. Nice mix of sandy gravel, pavement, slick grass and deep mud. Race started out with me taking third in the wholeshot, that gave me nice position going into the staight that had the deep mud. there was a little crash in the slick turn after the mud section. The pavement after that I took some ground and then sat in second. The guy I was with got a little break, but I didnt chase it, I figured it was much to early. Not one person from my group of three decided to chase. I spent the next lap sitting in and wheezing (I think im getting sick...) Then some dude came up from the back on lap two and toasted everyone, caught up to the guy who prolly had 20 seconds on us. The setup was two up and then a group of four with the rest of the field a safe distance behind. last lap comes around and one of the guys breaks away in the deep grass. I cant catch him, I decide to sit with the group of 3 remaining and win the sprint with my group for 4th place by about 10m. Some family showed up, very nice of them.
Overall good time. Stopped at some deli on the way home and scored a itailian sub.
My heart rate monitor came in yesterday its pretty sweet. but I think im getting sick because it was pegged between 167-187 the whole race... da da da.

I cleaned my bicycle today, at the bicycle shop.
My bike was really muddy today so i took it out to the shop and cleaned it, which worked out well becuase I had to drop off college forms with my employer. felt the need to use my camera whilst I was there, here is the result one shiny and clean bicycle.

Single ring 39-14 setup used to crush men 20 years my senior

Doing a project on NORML the nation organization for refromation of marijuana laws which is kind of interesting. decriminalization might be the way, but then the government would get into it making more mess for no good reason.
